The participant-centred conflict management seminar in Hanover teaches visitors how to conduct difficult conversations more effectively. Participants learn to recognise and analyse attack strategies, to be aware of the different perspectives of their conversation partners and to use de-escalating conflict avoidance techniques. The compact training also introduces solution-oriented communication models that enable participants to focus on a specific topic or issue without excluding choices.
Thanks to topic-centred transfer aids such as a photo protocol, flipcharts for visualisation and seminar documents, participants learn to successfully apply feedback techniques and conflict resolution strategies in everyday life. Through relevant exchange of experiences, exercises and case work, the seminar participants will better understand the dynamics in group work. Special attention is paid to the effect of one's own external image (external image and self-image), the role of presence, assertiveness, triggers and emergency exits in discussions as well as conflict management.
