The Train the Trainer seminar is a 2-day event consisting of several modules. For an optimal training effect, our course offers informative lectures as well as practical examples. Home office combined with digital learning looks like an optimal solution at first glance. However, it is often easier to convey content in a direct lecture, and when it comes to team or partner work, a face-to-face event is superior to an online seminar. In addition, the visualisation of content and the associated forms of presentation may require less effort on the part of the trainer. The use of practical exercises and role plays, for example, is quite difficult in an online seminar. Nevertheless, this form of presentation also offers advantages, for example in tailor-made advisory services for the self-employed or the time-saving teaching of missing skills.

1. Get involved with the topic of online seminars. Numerous participants appreciate the uncomplicated participation and are also able to learn content via a video call.
2. Don't be afraid to try out new forms of presentation. For example, you can include "new" media such as video clips in your visualisation to give even more expression to what you are saying.
3. Learn that part of your counselling service is also listening to the concerns of the participants. Including audience questions is not only a plus when facilitating. Other participants can take away practical examples from their peers.
4. Good planning and preparation is essential. Pay attention to the seminar room and the surroundings. Is there enough space for working in groups? Can I use the desired visualisations in my counselling sessions, or are media devices available?
5. We also advise you to practise self-reflection. Rhetorical skills give weight to what you say and make your seminar participants listen. An open attitude helps you to strengthen your position as a seminar leader.
