The self-competence training focuses on practical knowledge transfer with extensive exercises, case studies and group work. This makes it easy to follow best practices from different industries and develop more understanding of one's own personality. Role plays and the opportunity to exchange ideas with like-minded people skilfully round off the extensive experience and ensure that you start your everyday working life with a sense of calm in the future.

Target group of the self-competence training

The content of the event is aimed at all professionals and managers interested in the topic. Thus, both employees with and without managerial authority get their money's worth in the self-competence training. The focus is on an uncomplicated transfer of knowledge that does not require any previous knowledge and also provides beginners with essential skills on the topic of personal competence.

further recommendations on "Self-competence training"

What makes a self-competent person?

A self-competent person is not only able to deal effectively with stress, but also to realistically assess his or her own strengths and weaknesses and thus to resolve conflicts constructively. Furthermore, the term personal competence implies the ability to motivate oneself and to deal flexibly with change - while always maintaining a healthy work-life balance and building good interpersonal relationships.

The tasks of a leader & and the importance of self-competence

Team and project leaders are not only responsible for leading, motivating and developing a team, they are also required to engage in self-reflection and stress management. The core areas are in the following areas:

  • Using one's own strengths and weaknesses efficiently.
  • Practising self-reflection and acting as an inspiring role model for other employees.
  • Leading effectively and humanely without losing sight of the goal.
  • Cultivate emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Train and optimise decision-making in uncertain situations.
  • Demonstrate continuous learning and adaptability.

Self-competence: The role of identity & identification

With a strong and, above all, positive identity, you have the opportunity to develop a clearer idea of yourself and thus to recognise your own strengths and weaknesses and learn to deal with them. Identity is not only the totality of your individual characteristics, but also includes your beliefs, life experiences and personal values.

In this way, you can act authentically and, above all, self-confidently and better understand your role in a leadership position. Furthermore, the examination of your own ego grants you the mindset to always align your values and goals and thus develop an authentic leadership personality.
