You will get to know important labour law laws and principles and learn about the possibilities and limits of management by means of labour law rules and discuss options for action on the basis of exemplary conflict cases.

Thus, you will recognise when and why specialist legal help should be sought and why a dispute under labour law sometimes cannot be resolved with the usual conflict management methods.

A variety of methods help to understand labour law for professionals and managers. After initial input from our lecturer on labour law and the systematics of labour law, you will enter into an exchange of experiences with the other seminar participants. Based on your stories, the legal aspects are discussed and possible ways of resolving disputes are discussed. Individual and group work will help to deepen what you have learned. With further information material on complex labour law, literature tips and a list of links, you can review what you have learned at home after the labour law seminar and get ideas for your further learning.

Labour law can be a means for those with technical and managerial responsibility in a company to provide good and effective technical guidance, motivation and leadership to employees and to organise work processes.
