You will acquire basic data knowledge ready for application and learn how to implement common analysis techniques in your job. During the seminar, you will work hands-on with data and current AI tools so that you can apply what you have learnt directly in your day-to-day work. You will be able to determine important key figures yourself, recognise anomalies and present results clearly. Thanks to AI support - such as Microsoft Copilot - you will learn how to automate routines and concentrate on interpreting the results. In short, you will transform data into insights, communicate these confidently within the team or to managers and make more informed decisions as a result. The seminar will also help you gain confidence in dealing with data and lose any reservations you may have about technology and statistics.

The seminar is designed to be interactive and practice-orientated. Short technical inputs alternate with concrete exercises on the laptop. You will work on sample data sets that depict typical situations from marketing, sales or HR and apply the techniques you have learnt step by step yourself - e.g. creating an Excel pivot analysis or evaluating a small survey. Modern training methods provide variety: live demos (such as the AI assistant Excel Copilot) show possibilities, in breakout sessions you solve tasks in small groups and discuss results. Making mistakes is expressly encouraged: everyone learns together from selected "wrong" diagrams or interpretations how to do things better. You will also receive comprehensive documentation - from step-by-step instructions (e.g. "How do I create a pivot report?") to cheat sheets for chart selection and AI prompts. This means you can refresh what you have learnt at any time afterwards and use it in your day-to-day work.
